I know that Obama was elected last night. In my mind I know the fact. Somehow, it has failed to fully sink in. As someone who grew up in post-9/11 Bush America, it is hard to fathom such an enormous change in the direction of our country and the nature of our politics.
I cannot be more eloquent than President-elect Obama. Here is his acceptance speech in full.

Congratulations America!
Unbelievably well said. People have started taking down their McCain-Palin signs in my neighborhood, but Obama signs stay up. This was an election well fought and well won.
