Found this video through Matthew Yglesias. It's pretty indicative, I think, of the McCain campaign's emergency Obama-trashing rampage.
Here are some news stories that caught my eye today:
Slashdot reports that Maryland and Virginia will eliminate their voting machines after this election.
Politico reports that Senator Norm Coleman's (R-MN) wife $75,000 in dubious payments.
The Economist has endorsed Barack Obama.
Mark Halperin of Time Magazine's The Page reports that 23% of Texas voters mistakenly identify Obama as Muslim.
The BBC reports that a clay shard has been uncovered in an Israeli archaeological dig which may contain the earliest written Hebrew. The shard is over 3,000 years old.
Slashdot reports that software is now available to explore the limits of the Great Firewall of China (the internet screening devices which filter the content Chinese can access over the internet). You can find out for yourself which sites on the Tiananmen Square massacre don't make it to the Google search. Interesting.
Five days to go until our country rights its ship. Do your part: phonebank, canvass, make sure everyone you know goes to vote.
