This morning, three former Google employees and another ex-IBM white-collar worker launched an avant-garde search engine. Christened Cuil, (pronounced cool), this novel technology is the greatest prodigious comprehensive explorer of the world wide web; users have admission to over 120 billion web pages.
The extensive database is a phenomenal improvement over Google and other large corporations in this field. In 2006, the Mountain View company, more or less synonymous with search, admitted to browsing a mere 6 billion web pages. Today it is estimated that Cuil searches 3 times an additional amount than Google; furthermore, experts expect Cuil utilizes a whopping 10 more times of supplementary pages than MSN and other Microsoft search engines.)
Appearing similar to a contemporary magazine, the design of Cuil is generating the bulk of attention. After probing the system with a catechization, results appear with pictures in either 2 or 3 columns. (The consumer determines this part of the layout.)
Cuil is sustained by over 33 million from investors. The company does not store search activity or IP addresses, unlike Google, Yahoo and moreover the preponderance of firms involved in this specific industry.
Check out this breakthrough today: www.CUIL.com. (Remember, it is enunciated COOL.)
