British Labor Party General Secretary Quits Over Questionable Donations

Labor Party Secretary Peter Watt resigned last night over 400,000 pounds in alleged donations from real estate lobbyist/developer David Abrahams and others. Abrahams supposedly gave the money to business partners to donate, in order to keep his name out of the public registry.

The ordeal has hurt Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who's credibility has fallen in the past few weeks. The opponent Conservative Party has (naturally) been having a field day. The question for Americans is will this affect US-UK relations?
