Obama Endorsement

The people have spoken, and now all the Democratic primaries are complete. The results are not all in yet, but it is clear now that Barack Obama has won the majority of delegates and has therefore clinched the Democratic nomination for President.

Young Sentinel wants to congratulate both candidates on surviving a long and brutal primary while holding back the far more negative campaign which could have been waged. Senator Clinton, despite her faults, ran a solid campaign. We will be seeing more of her, whether she becomes the Vice Presidential pick or the next Ted Kennedy leader in the Senate.

Now, however, we enter a new stage of the campaign. Obama has come far to become the first black nominee of a major political party, but he has many obstacles ahead. First, he must allow Clinton to concede gracefully, uniting the supporters of both candidates under the banner of change.

Next, he must begin to target lower and middle class white voters in states such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, and the Mid West.

Next he must solidify his support among Hispanics, locking up New Mexico and possibly other southwestern states.

All the while he must strive to show the American people what John McCain truly offers: merely a continuation of Bush's economic, Iraq, and education policies, and a promise of more radical conservatives on our courts.

The Young Sentinel contributors therefore unanimously endorse Barack Obama for President.

We're ready for change.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead

"Radical conservatives?"
hahahahaha that is truly funny!
Also: Changing from the so-called McCain-Bush policies into absolute failure! This election is really going to be interesting.

Clinton is finally defeated!!!

She'll finally go away?

The answer is no. Clinton will never go away. She'll keep on popping up in ways you'd never expect. She won't accept defeat. She is like Ryan Seacrest (if that's how you spell is name, I'm not actually sure). You can run, but you can't hide.

Obama 2008!!!
