Unrest in Pakistan

After December's assassination of Presidential candidate Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan's election was postponed until February 18. Incumbent Pervez Musharraf has ordered soldiers to open fire at anyone attempting to disturb the elections, according to Reuters. Scott Horton of The Atlantic wrote a piece about turmoil there which is well worth a read. Apparently many Pakistanis believe that Musharraf, who was at risk of losing the election, was behind the assassination.
